Jesus is our Home

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God,^, believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many dwelling places; if that were not so; would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

John 14 : 1-3

Our Lord Jesus Christ is a wonderful and caring Savior! He came to earth to save us from our sins and after He resurrects, He prepares a place for us in heaven! Imagine the Creator of all lovingly creating a home for you. God knows all your desires and understands your design sensibility better than you. He knows the environment, colors and details you will enjoy beyond anything you could ask or imagine. Think about living in a perfect community-in perfect communion with all believers forever. I am sure our pets are part of His awesome plan too.

Heaven is holy, thrilling and meaningful beyond anything we imagine. Still, none of it compares to the infinite, priceless treasure of being with Jesus always and forever. Jesus is heaven-looking at Him, communing with Him, creating with Him. This is purpose and pleasure beyond words.

Let us serve and enjoy Jesus today as we look forward to the day we will see Him face to face, forever united with Him and the family of God.
